TOYOTA LAND CRUISER VX 200
TOYOTA Land Cruiser 200 (September 2007-Spring 2021)
Bringing with it the much-loved 1VD-FTV twin turbo diesel V8, the 200 Series took Land Cruiser to new levels of performance and technology when it landed in 2007.
Toyota City, Japan, June 10, 2021―Toyota unveiled the new Land Cruiser to the world, the redesigned new Land Cruiser (300 Series), the successor to the 200 Series that debuted in 2007 before 14 years, is a station wagon model. As the flagship model of the Land Cruiser series, it has in every generation led the way in vehicle evolution while incorporating the latest technologies.
300 Series (2021-on)
Speculation of a new Toyota Land Cruiser this year, which will lose it’s V8 in lieu of more advanced and efficient V6 petrol and diesel engines, caused a big run on Land Cruiser 200 Series sales. Supply from Japan was quickly snapped up, and secondhand models were being listed at eye-watering prices.
Leaks and speculation seemed to hit the nail on the head. While the overall dimensions and wheelbase of the Land Cruiser carry over from the 200 Series, the all-new platform will have 3.3 liter twin turbocharged V6 engines. While power and torque is up, capacity and cylinder count is down.
